After a bumper season of incredible music festivals and concerts, live music comes to the Yarra Valley once again this April.
Rochford Wines presents not one but two unmissable musical events over the Anzac Day long weekend, featuring back-to-back tribute shows performed by some of Australia’s finest musicians. Be wined, dined and entertained in our purpose-built concert lounge on Saturday night and in our outdoor pavilion on Sunday, all the while taking in the beautiful surrounds and vines. Now that’s a weekend well spent!
The Australian Killers Show – Saturday 23rd April
On Saturday 23rd of April, the Rochford Concert Lounge will come alive with Mr Brightside and their highly energetic The Australian Killers Show. Paying homage to one of the most successful American indie bands of the last two decades, this is your chance to rock out to some of their most iconic anthems and greatest hits, whilst enjoying a mouth-watering two course dinner at il Vigneto Pizzeria and of course our exceptional wines. Doors open at 5.30pm for meals and then it’s showtime. Dance like nobody’s watching… don’t mind if we do!
Purple Revolution – Sunday 24th April
The live music doesn’t stop there with ARIA award-winning singing sensation Andrew De Silva (of R&B group CDB and winner of Australia’s Got Talent) taking us on a funk-filled musical journey through the life and times of the one and only Prince with his highly acclaimed Purple Revolution show. Join this engaging frontman and his band on Sunday 24th of April under our open-air pavilion for a trip down memory lane with such classic hits including Purple Rain, When Doves Cry and Little Red Corvette guaranteed to get you up on the dancefloor. This is an all-ages event so bring the whole family and settle in for the afternoon.
Whether seated in our undercover area or relaxing out on the lawn, this will no doubt be a live music experience that you will thank yourself for later. Our premium wine bar along with a food truck will also be on offer so you can truly immerse yourself in the sights and sounds that only the Yarra Valley can provide.
