Buds are beginning to burst, ducklings are frolicking on our lawns and the familiar pop and fizz of our sparkling bottles fill the cellar door once more.
Spring is finally upon us! And as the temperature begins to rise, so too does activity here at Rochford. Whatever your age, or your appetite we’ve got your Spring sorted.
School Holidays – 21 September – 6 October
If you’ve got the kids home from school these holidays and you’re looking for an activity that’s as fun for you as it is for them, we’ve teamed up with Healesville Sanctuary to deliver just that.
This exclusive Rochford Wines X Healesville Sanctuary experience includes adult entry to the Healesville Sanctuary (kids visit free on the holidays) and lunch at our esteemed Isabella’s restaurant.
Who could say no to cuddling koalas followed by a delicious lunch and glass of wine? Certainly not us.
This offer is available during the school holidays (21st September – 6th October) or until sold out. Bookings are essential so (kangaroo) hop to it!

Got a couple of pizza-loving bambinos in your family? Good news! Kids eat free with any adult meal purchased these school holidays at Il Vigneto Pizzeria.
We’ve got a baby Margherita for the tiny traditionalists among us, a tasty Ham and Cheese pizza, and Alfredo, Pesto or Napoli Orecchiette on offer for the pint-sized pasta lovers.
For Mum and Dad, our full menu has lots to choose from, but we’ve got our eyes on the Zucca pizza or the Linguini Pescatore for fresh, springtime flavours.

Isabella’s new spring menu launch
Speaking of food, our new Spring Menu at Isabella’s has launched! If you haven’t yet, had the chance, it’s time to dig in.
Nothing says Spring like lamb, and our Marinated Tenderloin entree is a feast for the senses! Served with hasselback potatoes, red currant and ginger sauce, blistered tomatoes and peppercorn jus and paired perfectly a chilled glass of our 2023 Rochford Estate Rosé.
For the main event, it’s a tough choice! But punters are loving the Confit duck with white bean and Toulouse sausage cassoulet, finished with a truffle crumbed artichoke.
Another crowd-pleaser has been the barbecued quail with roasted aubergine, blood orange marmalade, and black garlic.
If fish takes your fancy, it’s hard to go past our pan-seared Barramundi, with roasted heirloom carrot and quinoa salad and smoked chilli harissa labneh. Yum.
For sweets, take your tastebuds to the tropics with our Coconut Tapioca served with roasted coconut, lime gel and a glazed cherry. Or there’s always cheese – burrata with caramelized onion fig and walnut roulade and lavosh – ok we can hear you salivating from here!

What’s happening in the vineyard
As we mentioned earlier, the buds on our vines are beginning to burst and flower! Which means it’s an exciting but anxious wait for our vineyard to see what the upcoming vintage will bring.
Music and events
If it’s entertainment you’re after, the lawn is ripe and ready to host you and your mates this spring, with Blankets & Wine on 12 October. Dance and sing-along with the whole family to the sounds of Afrobeats, RnB, Reggae and Soulful Hip Hop live music performances.
If iconic club anthems are more your style, you simply can’t miss out on the Alive Garden Party on 26 October. Featuring live orchestra, Club Symphony, playing all your favourite bangers from the likes of Daft Punk, Fatboy Slim and Basement Jaxx. This is an experience not to be missed.
Our Concert Lounge at Il Vigneto is also playing host to a slew of talented acts this spring, including Fleetwood Max on 5 October, Jeff Jenkins & the Heartstarters on 2 November and The Boombabies playing 60’s dance hits and anthems on 23 November.
Spring sipping
Surviving another frosty winter calls for celebration, which is why we’re sipping on bubbly this spring!
Our newly released Rochford NV Sparkling & Sparkling Rosé are currently available for purchase exclusively in our Bubbles 6-pack.
The Sparkling NV White features vibrant notes of fresh pastries, green apple and lemongrass, while the Sparkling Rosé is dry by style, and anything but by nature. This party-perfect wine has notes of strawberries and cream, mandarin and some savoury complexity.
With Spring here and the charge home to the end of the year firing up, don’t forget to start booking in those Christmas functions and catch-ups, we’re lapping up this new season, but summertime will surely be here before we know it!
